Ford Thailand once again generates excitement in the pickup market with the launch of the Ford Ranger Super Duty, a heavy-duty pickup developed to address a significant market gap. Redefining toughness with its ‘Tough Unlimited’ concept, Thai customers will be the first in the world to experience the double-cab version. Ford also reveals new variants for the Ford Ranger and Ford Everest, offering enhanced performance, technology, and versatile options to meet diverse needs and lifestyles. This underscores Ford’s leadership in the pickup truck and SUV segments at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show, running from 25 March to 5 April 2026, with exclusive promotions both at the event and across all Ford dealerships nationwide.

“The launch of the Ford Ranger Super Duty marks another significant step for Ford in elevating toughness standards in the pickup market. Ford identified a crucial gap for a pickup capable of truly heavy-duty tasks, serving customers ranging from entrepreneurs with demanding work to adventurers seeking an all-terrain truck. We developed this model to pave the way for a new heavy-duty pickup segment. Furthermore, Ford is introducing new Ranger and Everest variants, featuring a re-tuned 2.0L turbo diesel engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This provides Thai customers with more choices that align with their diverse needs and lifestyles, reflecting Ford’s global ‘Ready Set Ford’ platform, which empowers customers to maximize their potential through Ford vehicles,” said Ratthakarn Jutasen, managing director, Ford Thailand.

The Ford Ranger Super Duty is engineered for customers demanding superior payload and towing capabilities. It boasts a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 kg, a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 4,500 kg, and a Gross Combined Mass (GCM) of 8,000 kg.

Its entirely upgraded frame is 70-80 kg heavier than a standard Ranger, featuring a direct frame-mounted steel bumper and 3.6 mm thick steel underbody protection from front to fuel tank, ready for extreme conditions. The redesigned suspension includes the thickest control arms ever developed for Ranger, strengthened front and rear axles, and larger, more robust new differentials to support heavy loads. The ‘Tough Unlimited’ identity is further highlighted by exclusive Heavy Duty 8-stud steel wheels and a ‘SUPER DUTY’ dashboard emblem.

Ford reinforces its leadership in off-road driver-assist technology with a full suite of 7 drive modes: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, Sand, and Rock Crawl. It also introduces Thailand’s first pickup features like Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist.

The Double Cab Ford Ranger Super Duty, powered by a 3.0L V6 diesel engine, is priced at 1,599,000 baht, including complimentary first-class insurance.

Ford further elevates its Ranger and Everest variants, enhancing driving performance and offering more accessible premium features. These new variants integrate a re-tuned 2.0L turbo diesel engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, comprehensive safety systems from entry-level, and bolder exterior designs across the range.

The new Ford Ranger line-up is tailored for versatile use, from work to family adventures. Highlights include the Ranger Wildtrak-X with a 3.0L V6 10-speed automatic, boasting enhanced off-road performance with Bilstein shock absorbers, steel underbody protection, Matrix LED headlamps, and 17-inch matte black alloy wheels with A/T 265/70 R17 tires, delivering greater confidence across challenging terrains. Its innovative Flexible Rack System simplifies gear transport. The luxurious interior features an 8-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The Ranger Wildtrak-X is also available in the new Ignite Orange.

Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4×4 and 4×2 models, with the 2.0L turbo diesel and 10-speed automatic, gain enhanced safety and advanced driver-assist technologies, also available in Ignite Orange. The value-oriented Ranger XLS Double Cab Hi-Rider is enhanced for greater comfort and everyday usability, with a 12-inch Multi-Touch screen, dual-zone climate control, rear air vents, LED taillamps, and Cruise Control.
