Madrid, October 17, 2024 –   The 2025 OMODA 5 has just gone on sale in Spain, adding even more attributes to those that have made it a best-seller. With the financing conditions offered by the brand, the new model has a monthly payment of 149 euros*. Without taking advantage of these conditions, its prices start at 27,900 euros (with the Comfort finish) and 29,900 euros (with the Premium finish).

The new OMODA 5 2025 incorporates many improvements, following the philosophy that has been so successful for OMODA: listening to its community of users and continuously adapting its products to their tastes and needs, while maintaining very competitive prices. The new compact SUV incorporates new mechanics that reduce consumption and emissions, a redesigned interior, some more practical elements and certain aesthetic details that identify it at first glance.

This update of the OMODA 5 follows the excellent reception that this vehicle has had in Spain since its launch in February 2024, with more than 5,000 units registered. The new model is immediately available in the official OMODA&JAECOO network in Spain, which already has 65 locations spread throughout the country, including the Balearic and Canary Islands. As always with the brand, it offers a 7-year warranty or 150,000 km.

New 145 hp 1.6 turbo engine

The OMODA 5 MY25 is powered by a new Euro6E four-cylinder in-line petrol engine, replacing the previous one. With a displacement of 1,598 cc, 145 hp (108 kW) and a torque of 275 Nm, it is associated with the modern 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that was fitted to its predecessor.

With this configuration, the new OMODA 5 offers a better balance between performance and sustainability, with a 6.7% reduction in fuel consumption and 6.5% in emissions. The new model declares an official combined fuel consumption of 7 l/100 km and emissions that drop to 159 g/km, both in the combined WLTP cycle (7.5 l/100 km and 170 g/km in the previous OMODA 5). All in all, it achieves acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds and a top speed of 195 km/h.

New interior: more technological, intuitive and comfortable

The other major change is in the passenger compartment, which is now more technological and intuitive. It also offers quality levels in materials and adjustments more typical of higher segments, which also make it even more comfortable. The first major new feature is a large integrated screen, thinner and wider, made up of two 12.3-inch (31 cm) LCDs each (10.25” and 26 cm in the previous model).

The second improvement is the new floating centre console, which consists of a second, clearly differentiated module and incorporates a single row of quick-access physical buttons for climate control and driving mode selection. In this way, touch and voice commands are combined in an infotainment system from which all climate control, audio, telephone and personalisation functions of many of the main parameters are managed. The new centre console also includes two covers that hide practical storage compartments and a mobile phone holder, with 50W inductive wireless charging. Below, both the space for bulkier personal items and the connection sockets (USB, USB-C and 12V) are maintained.

In the trunk, the OMODA 5 now has a much more versatile floor, which can be placed in two positions to make much better use of its loading capacity.

More improvements in other sections

On the outside, the new OMODA 5 MY2025 maintains its main lines and refines its aerodynamics with a small spoiler on the tailgate and new 18” wheels that offer less resistance against the wind. There are new exterior elements, such as the word OMODA in the centre of the rear lights, more effective parking sensors on the front grille and roof bars for loading luggage (as standard). The new model is fitted with Kumho tyres as standard.
